Casting Instructions for ‘Summon Volos’
Volos can be summoned to guard cattle or bring income but is most effective to predict a dead spirit. It’s important however to note that once you’ve summoned Volos you’ll need to ask him for a favor for which he will most likely demand a payment to be made, it is not possible to predict the payment but it’s very likely to be the casting of another spell to aid his work. You may not ask Volos to kill because he is a god of the dead rather than of death however he may grant access to spirits under his rule and even sometimes sell you a soul for the ideal payment.
To prepare the spell the blood should be in a bowl or cauldron, the amount of the blood does not matter although new blood works the best. You then have to cast a circle round the bowl before going any further to attempt and include Volos incase things go wrong. With the blood open to the air Volos shall be present however to call him into being you need to say,
Volos I provide you with your creation’s blood,
I give to you your signature spirit
In exchange I ask for your blessing
Come to the place for our discussions”
If done corectly Volosshould seem apparently as a man shrouded by darkness however when I tried this in english I just recieved a dark cloud however his existence is non the less noticeable. To dissmiss Valos you will need to bad water to the blood but be cautious of crossing the circle if you’ve angered him.
