This spell will help with courage. Many people need a little boost of courage sometimes. Whether it be to present a project at work or college, or stand up to that one bully who won’t leave you alone. Without courage boundaries are set up and constructed that limit us from what we need and want to do. We’ll use the elements Fire, Air, Earth, and Water. The elements air and fire are extremely quick ways to nip something in the bud, as they remove things very quickly. So this spell will be ideal for something you need to happen more soon, than later.
Pencil or pen
Paper
Turquoise candle
A game (or anything to light the candle with)
Cauldron, (anything which allows something to be burnt in will do just fine also!)
Carving utensil.
Casting Directions for ‘Ring Around the Candle’
Take your turquoise candle and carving utensil and carve a line threw the candle. Meaning, start at one point, wrap the line around the candle, and stop where you started. So it creates a ring around the candle. For each thing you Want to have courage for, place a notch on the ring when saying this:
A ring for boundaries, which hold me tight
A candle to burn threw them, with its light
After you are finished with the carving, keep muttering the words above, then take your piece of paper, and write your issue(s) down three times each. Fold it five times while considering the future of what’s going to come with this courage. Take the folded piece of paper and light the corner then put it into your cauldron. Say this as you watch the flames:
A ring for bounds, which hold me tight
A candle to burn threw them together with all its light,
Fire to observe courage burn threw,
Air make it new and to take it away,
Earth to let courage grow to me,
And water to take these restrictions out to sea,
As I will it, so mote it be!
Let the candle burn for three more minutes then take the ashes of your paper to the nearest pond, stream, lake, ect., and scatter them into it. Watch them flow off while thinking what the future will be like.
Then take the wax of the candle that has been burned off and bury it. Either in the forests or at the yard will be just fine!
