Casting Instructions for ‘Shapeshifting’
I understand that shapeshifting is extremely controversal so I am trying to permit you to personally try it.
The first step is to determine which animal you want to become. Allow some thought on this and reason. Why do you wish to become this peticualar creature. What do you want to benefit from by becoming this creature?
I recomend you choose an animal that has few predators (a mouse isn’t a great choice for your first transformation). Something like a dog, wolf, bear, or cat would be fine.
The next step is to try to contact the animal you’ve chosen. If there is a particular god/dess assigned to that animal, ask them for assistance too.
Now we’ll try to shapeshift only on the astral plane. Confront the animal and make sure they are clear of your aims. Watch the animal and how it moves till you feel comforable enough with the animal. Now merge your body with that of the animals until you’re looking through their eyes. When you are ‘one’ with the animal you have succesfully shapeshifted from the astral plane. To some this may come natural and to other people this my look impossible, but I assure you it isn’t.
I recomend you spend the first two or three sessions only shapeshifting from the astral plane so that you can learn how to move and and be as the animal you choose.
When you’re ready to make the physical shapeshift you will have to set an amount of time that you wish to be the creature.
With your eyes open, perform the preceding instructions as before. Do not use a physical creature to merge with, just work with the astral animal. If you have an eye for seeing souls, etc. , this may come easy. Rather than staying in place you will need to physically move around the creature until you merge with it. When you mix, your body should be positioned in a propper place to align with that of the creature.
When you are one with the animal, you need to have forgotten all human fears and such. Your mind has become altered and your whole way of life differs.
This will take extreme practice to fully shapeshift in the physical realm.
If you desire to reach the complete shapeshift, make sure you have set an amount of time in which you will change back to human no matter where you’re. An easy chant beforehand stating the duration will work fine.
Additionally, it is not rare that you come into contact with another animal. Don’t fear or runaway in the animal unless it is a natural predator towards you.
